THE VILLAGE ART STUDIO, INC. BARBARA SMENNER owner _________________________ REGULAR WEEKLY CLASSES Taught by Barbara Smenner Students are required to sign up in advance. Time: 10:00 am - 3:30 pm. We open at 9:30am so you can set up and be ready to paint at 10:00am. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= February 2012 Classes Regular Wednesday classes this month will be Feb. 8th, 22nd & 29th. Must purchase painting surfaces from studio. Fee: $35.00. For experienced students -=-=-=-= Special Palette Knife classes: Feb. 15th & 16th. This is a two day class for experienced students. Students choose their subject from their own photos or select from photos at studio. Fee: $75.00. Deposit of $ 40.00 reserves your seat. Balance due at time of class. A lot of work goes into preparing for classes therefore no refunds on deposits. Must purchase painting surfaces from studio. Use you own supplies, paints & palette knives. -=-=-=-=- Teen Class: Feb 18th. Teens will create their own design in floral with acrylics on 11x14 canvas. Canvas and all supplies furnished. Fee: $ 50.00. Deposit of $25.00 reserves your seat. Balance due at time of class. No refund on deposit.
-=-=-=-=- Adult Class: Feb 25th. Class in oil for beginner to advanced students. All supplies furnished. Photo of class project will be placed here in a few days. Fee: $50.00. Deposit of $25.00 reserves your seat. Balance due at time of class. No refund on deposit. -=-=-=-=- NATIONALLY KNOWN ARTIST SEMINARS Deposit: A deposit equal to the cost of one day of the seminar is required to hold your place in a seminar which will be deducted from the tuition fee. Balance of class fee is due one month before the seminar. Refunds: Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable. Cancellation: A seminar will be cancelled only in the unlikely event that there is insufficient enrollment. In this event students will receive a full refund. Waiting List: Classes usually fill up very quickly, so it is advisable to register as early as possible. In the event that the class is full, students may wish us to place them on a waiting list. Motel information is listed at the end of the seminar list.
_____________________________________________ Dalhart Windberg Seminar Texas artist Dalhart Windberg returns this spring for another one of his very interesting and educational seminars. Dalhart is known for his masterful use of light, color & shadow in still life and landscape paintings. Assisting Dalhart will be his son Michael who is also a masterful painter and teacher. Students may bring their own photographs to work from or select from the Windbergs stock. Date: March 29, 30, & 31st, 2012 Fee: $450.00 A deposit of $150.00 will hold your seat. Balance of $300.00 will be due 30 days prior to beginning of the seminar. Beginners as well as experts will benefit from her classes. Students may bring their own photographs of friends and family to paint from. Date: Week one - June 11th thru 16th, 2012 Week two - June 18th thru 23rd, 2012 Note: The first day of each week ( June 11th and June 18th) are FREE days for those signed up for the seminar. Yes FREE !! During this time you can come in and meet the other artist, set up your work station, trace out your patterns and get loads of information from Mary Carole. Fee: $ 450.00 per week. A deposit of $90.00 will be required for each week you plan to attend. The balance will be due 30 days prior to the beginning of the seminar. ____________ Mary Carole Seminar Mary Carole will return this fall with a wide variety of subjects for you to paint. She has a great knowledge of portrait painting and is able to convey that knowledge on to you. Date: October 30 thru November 3rd, 2012 Fee: $ 425.00 A deposit of $ 85.00 will hold your seat.
